Betfair sluit haar deuren voor Nederlanders. Deze kwam ik zojuist tegen, het Nederlandse bookmakers landschap komt in beweging nu 1 oktober snel dichterbij komt. Hieronder diverse Q&A wat er eventueel met jouw account gaat gebeuren.

1. Why is your site no longer accessible from the Netherlands?

We are no longer offering our product to customers with a country of residence from the Netherlands or customers located in the Netherlands.

2. I don't live in Netherlands anymore; will I be able to continue using the site?

If your country of residence is no longer Netherlands you will have to register a new account reflecting your new address and Country of Residence. All accounts that have Netherlands as their Country of Residence will be automatically closed from 30.09.2021.

3. I am a resident of the Netherlands; can I use betfair when outside of the Netherlands?

You can use your betfair account when outside of the Netherlands only if your Country of Residence is not the Netherlands.

4. I have sent money to my betfair account via bank transfer and it will not credit before the 30.09.2021 what will happen to my money?

All customers no longer able to access their account to withdraw funds will be required to contact customer services to retrieve funds.

5. Can I withdraw my balance?

Yes. All customers with funds remaining in their account are asked to withdraw their balances by the 30.09.2021. Failure to do so may significantly delay the duration until funds can be returned. Customers with balances in their Games Account are kindly asked to transfer funds to the main wallet by 28.09.2021 (2 days before closure) to ensure funds within the Games wallet can be withdrawn before the 30.09.2021.
